Michlig Cabin, Fourth of July 2008
This Fourth of July we enjoyed at the Michlig Cabin. We finally bit the bullet and bought a travel trailer after two years of (me) wanting one!! It was our first outing with the camper and it went off without a "hitch"!! We were fortunate enough to have the cabin as a backup, as well as two seasoned campers (Jerry & Buck) closeby for any issues or problems (or questions, and there were plenty of those!). It was Cailey's first fireworks show as we have always stuck around the house in the past. She was terrified, but stuck it out and enjoyed the sights...the sounds, not so much! She insisted that I hold her ears the entire time. Next year should be better. Other than that, our vacation was spent around the fire and eating! Some went fishing, without success. The weather was absolutely beautiful the entire time with warm days and cool nights. We couldn't have asked for a better 4th!
